4. Data collection on this website
Cookies
Our websites use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small data packets and do not cause any damage to your end device. They are stored on your end device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them yourself or they are automatically deleted by your web browser.
Cookies can come from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services from third-party companies within websites, for example cookies for handling payment services.
Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them, for example the shopping cart function or the display of videos. Other cookies may be used to evaluate user behaviour or for advertising purposes.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions you have requested, for example the shopping cart function, or to optimise the website, for example cookies for measuring the web audience (necessary cookies), are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG); consent can be revoked at any time.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
You can find out which cookies and services are used on this website in this privacy policy.

- browser type and browser version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
- host name of the accessing computer
- time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources.
This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.
Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if this has been requested; consent can be revoked at any time.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies, for example after your enquiry has been processed. Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Enquiries by email, phone or fax
If you contact us by email, phone or fax, your enquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request.
The data you send to us via contact enquiries will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies, for example after your request has been processed. Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

Our own audience measurement (GeminiHorizon Insights)
To understand which content is helpful and where our website needs to improve, we use an audience measurement we built ourselves. It runs on our own server at Hostinger in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. No data is passed on to third parties or used for advertising.
Without consent (anonymous counting): We do not set cookies and do not read anything from your device. We record the page viewed, the referring website or campaign parameters (e.g. utm_source), device type, browser, operating system, language, country, region and city (roughly derived from the IP address by our host Vercel, coordinates rounded to about 10 km), screen size, light or dark colour scheme, the time of active use, page loading times (e.g. how fast the main content appears), technical error messages of the page (without e-mail addresses or number sequences) and completed goals such as a sent contact form. To group several page views of the same day, we create a hash from the IP address, the browser identifier and a random value that changes every day. The IP address itself is never stored, and the random value is deleted when the day ends, so you cannot be recognised across days. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in designing the website according to its visitors' needs (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
With consent (detailed analysis): If you accept all services in the cookie settings, we additionally store a random session ID in your browser's session storage (deleted when the tab is closed) and a random ID in local storage (at most 30 days, to recognise returning visits). We then also record scroll depth, how long individual sections were visible, click positions and clicked elements (for click heatmaps), repeated or ineffective clicks, mouse movements (combined into a coarse grid for attention heatmaps), swiping in sliders, opening menus and expandable sections, language changes, clicks on external links and downloads, how long and how far videos play, whether text was copied (only the kind, e.g. e-mail address or phone number, never the content), and which form fields were selected. What you type into form fields is never transmitted. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG), which you can withdraw at any time in the cookie settings. If Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is active in your browser, we do not carry out the detailed analysis.
When you send an inquiry or book an appointment: If you send us the contact form or book an appointment, the random ID of the current page view is sent along with your request. With your inquiry we then store only the channel and campaign you came from (e.g. Google search or a specific ad), the landing page, the number of pages viewed and the country. The audience measurement itself never receives your name or e-mail address. This shows us which advertising actually leads to inquiries. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in evaluating our advertising (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Click, movement, section, video and form data as well as error messages are deleted after 90 days, all other visit data after 25 months at the latest.
5. Social media
Elements of the social network Facebook are integrated on this website. The provider of this service is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. According to Facebook, however, the collected data is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.

If you click the Facebook “Like button” while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of this website to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to assign the visit to this website to your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. Processing by Facebook that takes place after the forwarding is not part of the joint responsibility. The obligations incumbent on us jointly have been set out in a joint processing agreement. According to this agreement, we are responsible for providing the privacy information when using the Facebook tool and for the privacy-compliant, secure implementation of the tool on our website. You can assert data subject rights, for example requests for information, regarding the data processed by Facebook directly with Facebook. If you assert data subject rights with us, we are obliged to forward them to Facebook.
